At Enjoolata Foundation we are more than funders: we are partners in creating lasting change.
"Enjoolata" is a name inspired by the Maasai Mara tribespeople, symbolising the joy felt when something hidden becomes known. This reflects our mission to inspire positive change at a grassroots level by unearthing hidden voices and sparking joy through the process of transformation.
What Makes Enjoolata Different?
We don’t operate like traditional funders. That means no long, formal reporting. But this doesn’t mean we don’t care! In fact, we really want to hear from you.
We love it when you keep us in the loop: tell us how your project’s going, what you’re proud of, or what challenges you're facing. You don’t need to send data or polished updates, just honest, human stories.
And if you’re happy for us to visit your project, even better. We’re a remote team, so seeing the impact of your work in real life means the world to us. Of course, we understand that’s not always possible, but when it is, we’ll be there cheering you on. We love rolling up our sleeves and getting involved, volunteering with our partners on project days is one of the ways we stay connected and engaged.

Since our inception, we have prioritised local impact, supporting partners across East Sussex. However, our commitment extends beyond borders. We maintain international partnerships with organisations in Kenya, Nepal, and the Maldives, facilitating meaningful exchanges between our local and global collaborators.
