* 12pm - Doors open to the public
* 12:30pm - Lewes Mayor to make a speech to open the event
* 1pm - African drumming workshop/tasters - Batafon Arts
* 2pm - African dance workshop - Batafon Arts
* 3pm - Children’s storytelling, plus short open mic section - poetry/singing
* 5pm - Headline Act: Liz Ikamba and band (2 x 40 mins sets)
Food vendor available all day - jerk chicken, rice and peas, jollof rice and more
Plus a bar selling alcohol cans and soft drinks

We definitely recommend travelling by train where possible. Lewes Train Station is only approximately 5 minutes walk from the venue, making it the easiest option for guests and volunteers.

* Walk to All Saints Centre: approx. 5 minutes

For volunteers, stallholders, vendors etc, and anyone staying for the full event: We recommend Lewes Station or Eastgate Wharf / NCP Car Park, if you need to park for long periods.
On-street parking: Some residential/on-street parking is available, but restrictions vary. Some spaces are resident-permit only and others have time limits. Please check the signs carefully before parking.
Top tip: If you can travel by train, please do! It’s convenient, avoids the hassle of finding parking and puts you within a short walk of the venue.
Please allow extra time for your journey, particularly on a Saturday. We look forward to welcoming you!
