About Lara Sanjar of Wild Renata Flowers

Is a highly sought after Florist and Installation Artist inspired by and working with nature to create immersive experiences with a focus on stimulating the human senses, memories and imagination through reconnecting with the natural elements. Lara’s muses are flowers and plants from all seasons. The inspiration behind her signature work the meadows which recently featured in the performance Bound , an immersive theatre production is to marry the cycles of grief with the cycles of nature through the constant flow of expansion and retraction, bloom and decay.

About Jon Powell , The Welcome Gardner

Hello, I'm Jon Powell, a landscape garden designer and creator running my own business in Walthamstow. After 20 years in the newspaper industry, I realised my true calling was a life outdoors. I took the plunge and retrained with RHS,and The Welcome Gardener was born.

Seeing an unloved garden transformed into something that brings joy and encourages people to spend more time outside is what drives me. I love working with clients to bring their ideas to fruition and breathe new life into neglected spaces.

I'm inspired by physically feeling the earth beneath me and the awe of being part of nature each day. Each project brings wonderful variety, and knowing my clients are enjoying their revamped spaces brings me great joy.
