Pal-entines at Emmaus!

We are inviting the local community to celebrate friendship, fun and platonic love at our Happy Pal-entine’s evening on Friday 13 February, from 6pm to 9pm, in Portslade, Brighton.

Offering a relaxed and welcoming alternative to traditional Valentine’s Day celebrations, Happy Palentine’s encourages people to come along with friends or attend solo and meet new faces. Guests can enjoy an evening of board games and freshly made pizza, with delicious slices served throughout the night by our talented chef and companion using our new on-site pizza oven.

Since 1997, we have supported over 1,500 people who have experienced homelessness, providing a home, work opportunities in our social enterprises and tailored wellbeing support.

Happy Palentine’s will bring people together from Portslade and beyond to celebrate the friendships that make life brighter, and every ticket sold will support our residents, known as companions, helping them rebuild their lives and move towards a more secure future.

Rachida Zitouni, Business Manager at Sussex Emmaus, said: “We want our Happy Palentine’s at Sussex Emmaus event to bring people together and celebrate the friendships and connections that make life brighter. Whether you come with friends or on your own, you’ll be made to feel very welcome. Every ticket sold helps us continue supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness, so it’s a great night out that will also make a real difference.”

The event takes place on Friday 13 February, 6pm–9pm, at Café@Emmaus, Drove Road, Portslade, Brighton, BN41 2PA.

Tickets are £12 per person.
